System Requirements
The CmapTools client is free for use by anybody, whether its use is commercial or non-commercial. In particular, schools and universities are encouraged to download it and install it in as many computers as desired, and students and teachers may make copies of it and install it at home. This free software for Mac OS X was originally developed by Institute for Human & Machine Cognition. From the developer: The IHMC CmapLite program is a version of CmapTools that has been reduced in functionality to allow it to run on smaller machines with a reduced memory size, in particular the Intel Classmate and the OLPC XO running Windows XP.
CmapTools v6 and above run under Java 7 (Java is included as part of the installation), and therefore a requirement is the capability to run Java 7.
