HOW TO RUN:
Copy gruntrush.zwp into your /mods/ruleset directory. Select 'gruntrush!' from the rulesets menu when creating a multiplayer game. All people in the game must have the ruleset.

Ruleset:
Only level one structures are available.
You cannot build a Restoration Facility/Scaver Hut.
You cannot build any turrets.
All combat units are half-cost (does not include buildings, rigs, collectors).
Protect HQ Enabled (cannot be without an HQ for more than 3 min)

Tired of those fiddly little blood stains that go away after a few seconds? Well, no more! This addon makes all stains and debris remain permanent on the map for the duration of your game, so that future generations can appreciate the sacrifices of their forefathers. In multiplayer, all participants will NOT need this addon in order to play together. However, if one player has it and the other doesn't, you will get a message notifying you that your data is different. This does not mean you are out-of-sync, and you can continue playing as normal. Enjoy!

'Both Sides' is a new ruleset that gives you the best of both worlds, 2 Sprawler rigs and 2 JDA rigs at the start of a game. You will be able to build every possible unit. It's best for big money games on large maps, as you will essentially be building 2 separate bases. 'Protect HQ' is incorporated into this ruleset. Note: All players must have the ruleset in their mods folder for it to work.

Get in the fast lane with the new 'Speed' ruleset for DR2! All unit movement speeds are increased 3x. Collectors collect and deposit 3 times faster. All build times decreased 3x (except the two ground turrets for both sides, whose build times are unchanged). 'Protect HQ' is incorporated into this ruleset.

Menu scroll buttons? Who needs them? With the new DR2 interface addon, flipping through the facility buttons to find your radomes will be a thing of the past. The addon ups the facility bar and squad buttons to 2 rows and expands the build menu to 6 rows, allowing you to manage your base much more efficiently. Download the file below that most closely matches the screen resolution at which you tyically run Dark Reign 2.

This addon moves the camera up to twice the default height, giving you a much wider view of the action. It will start you out at the original height, but tapping F3 once will jump you up to the new setting. Here are the controls:
F1: ground view
F2: default view (same as old F3)
F3: old F3 angle at twice the height
F4: slightly higher and steeper
F5: higher and steeper still
F6: yet still higher and steeper
F7: top-down view from insanely high up
numpad4: rotate left incrementally
numpad6: rotate right incrementally
numpad7: rotate left 90 degrees (unchanged)
numpad9: rotate right 90 degrees (unchanged)
numpad5: default height and pitch, rotate north (unchanged)

This add-on allows you to easily access and play your MP3s while playing Dark Reign 2. To use it:

1) Install the addon (see the above instructions)
2) Type 'Ctrl+Alt+M' from anywhere in the game to call up the MP3 player window.
3) Click on the 'Choose Directory' box and type in the path to your MP3 folder (example: 'C:Program FilesDark Reign 2MP3').
4) Click the 'Add Playlist' button.
5) Click 'Play' or 'Random'. 'Play' will run through the tracks in the order they are listed in the folder, 'Random' will select a random starting point, then continue down the list in the same order.

This fun little add on for Dark Reign 2 can come in handy if things ever get slow in the WON lobbies as you wait for 32 people to click Launch. The object of Dark 'Rain' is to get as many points as possible. You get points by completing lines that are then removed. As the blocks drop down you can move them left, right and down by using the arrows on the keyboard. You can also rotate them the same way you rotate buildings in the game...using the < and > keys.

You can activate Dark Rain at anytime by pressing Ctrl-Win-D.
